## Company: Marsh ## ## Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our **Claims Team** at **Marsh**. This role will be based either in **Sydney or Melbourne office**. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. In this role, you will provide a high level of day-to-day claims management services to clients and brokers through consulting, advisory, advocacy and negotiation. You will play a significant role in risk management and loss prevention which may involve legal and financial aspects. **_We will count on you to:_** * Ideally someone with strong understanding of claims processes with excellent negotiation skills. * Analyse documents and conducting investigations. * Preparing detailed reports and negotiating settlements. * Reviewing contracts and project documents to identify potential issues. * Collaborating with legal teams to support litigation or arbitration processes. * Interpreting and actioning assessor, adjusting and expert reports, managing and instructing investigations and implementing findings in accordance with the overall strategy * Manage a portfolio of material damage claims effectively to achieve solid financial outcomes through effective decision making * Preparation for and attendance at settlement conferences, hearings, and other dispute resolution activities * Maintain the claims management system, including claim estimates. * Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and ethical standards, liaising with stakeholders as necessary. **_What you need to have:_*
