Must Have
hands-on experience in DevOps engineering, ideally in data-intensive or analytics environments, Deep technical skills in at least one core language environment (e.g. Java, Javascript (NodeJS/TypeScript), Python, Shell scripting, etc), Proven experience with: CI/CD pipelines and automation, Cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and hybrid architectures, Infrastructure-as-Code and environment automation, Experience in automation tools and platforms such as BitBucket, TeamCity/Jenkins, Artifactory, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes, Docker, Dockerfiles, Helm, GCP/Azure/AWS), Experience with application development and multi-platform architectures, experience in software development processes, models, lifecycles and methodologies, Experience leading chapters, communities of practice, or cross-team engineering groups, Ability to balance enablement and governance in a regulated environment, coaching mindset with a track record of growing senior engineers, Excellent communication skills, able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders

Define and evolve the DevOps vision
and reference architectures for the Data & Analytics domain
Drive end-to-end CI/CD automation for data platforms
analytics applications
and reporting services across cloud and hybrid environments
Establish best practices for build
Ensure DevOps solutions support data lineage
Lead and grow the DevOps Chapter within Data & Analytics
Define chapter standards
and onboarding material for DevOps engineers in the data domain
Act as coach and mentor
raising engineering maturity and fostering a DevOps culture
Support career progression
and succession planning within the chapter
Partner with platform and product teams to deliver self-service DevOps capabilities
Drive adoption of cloud-native DevOps tooling aligned with Group and PB strategies
Enable scalable and resilient delivery for high-volume data processing and analytics workloads
Ensure DevOps processes comply with SDLC controls
Release and deployment governance
Security and vulnerability management
Data governance and regulatory expectations
Provide clear evidence
and traceability for audits and control reviews
Act as a key interface between engineering
and control functions
Work closely with Data Platform & Analytics Leads
Architecture & Engineering Governance
and Compliance stakeholders
Communicate DevOps strategy
