Timmons Group is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Project Engineer II/III to join our Land Development team in Charleston, SC. The Project Engineer II/III will contribute to a wide range of land development projects—from residential neighborhoods to commercial developments and public spaces. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: * Designing site layouts, grading, utilities, and stormwater systems using Civil 3D and other modeling tools. * Performing engineering calculations and solving real-world design challenges. * Preparing technical specifications and construction documents. * Conducting research and writing objective reports to support project completion. * Assisting with cost estimates and construction planning. * Supporting field inspections and data collection. * Collaborating with clients, internal teams, and senior engineers to deliver high-quality results. Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. * 2+ years of experience in land development engineering, including residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects. * EIT certification preferred. * Proficiency in Civil 3D and/or other CAD software. * Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. ## Additional Information The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
