What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field, Minimum of 7-10 years of experience on large-scale infrastructure projects, Experience in tunneling, subway, or underground construction with coordination with TW, Experience in managing the interface between internal teams and external consultants or contractors, Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, method statements, and engineering documentation
Nice to Have
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate issues, recommend corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement, Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with construction teams, workers, engineers, and management
What You'll Do.
Ensure Temporary Works are installed per approved designs
Coordinate with TW Designer
Complete and submit inspection reports
Use inspection checklists
Perform regular inspections
Ensure temporary structures are safe
Report unauthorized alterations
Maintain presence during TW activities
Verify documentation availability
Support development of Inspection Plans
Collaborate with TW Manager
Maintain Temporary Works Register
Update Inspection Log
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Coordinate with the TW Designer; Collaborate with the TW Manager, Designers, Coordinator and Methods team; Manage interface between internal teams and external consultants or contractors
Communication Scope
Communicate clearly with construction teams; Communicate clearly with workers; Communicate clearly with engineers; Communicate clearly with management; Read and interpret technical drawings; Interpret method statements; Interpret engineering documentation
