What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Minimum 5 years of experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects including road works, utilities within UAE, Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction specifications and processes related to civil inspection
What You'll Do.
Performs continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes
drawings and specifications
Construction of roads
and other associated improvements (curb and gutter
Installation of electrical equipment related to traffic signals
ramp metering and street lighting
Irrigation and planting
roadway and overhead sign removal and installation
Installation on temporary and permanent signs and delineation
Building and facility construction and associated site development
Takes project photographs on a daily basis and files them
Maintains office files related to the project
Prepares daily reports and other documentation
Verifies that only approved materials are incorporated in the work
Performs labor compliance interviews
Maintains as-built plans
Reports on installed quantities to verify applications for payment and change order work
Conducts tests to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Coordinates work of subconsultants for surveying and material testing; May provide technical guidance to lower-level inspectors
