What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, preferably in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management, or a related field, 15+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering, environmental services, or a closely related field, demonstrated leadership, networking, and business development capabilities, Sound business judgment, understanding of financial management principles in the AEC industry, Exceptional organization skills, Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint, written, verbal, and listening communication skills, Valid driver's license, willingness to travel as needed
Nice to Have
Professional Engineer (PE) license, IDOT project experience, Experience with project management and accounting software
What You'll Do.
Provide leadership and direction across Illinois offices
Manage regional administrative operations
Maintain accountability for operational performance
Address personnel issues
and onboarding efforts
Manage and develop regional staff
Serve as firm’s primary representative across Illinois
Maintain key client relationships
Identify market opportunities
Develop and execute regional business plans
Lead pursuit strategy
Maintain accountability for regional sales performance
Promote firm’s services
Ensure appropriate workload distribution
Monitor regional performance
Reinforce QA/QC practices
Resolve project delivery concerns
Provide mentorship to project teams
Lead long-term growth planning for Illinois region
Collaborate with senior leadership
Drive execution of strategic initiatives
Position region for sustained growth
