Must Have
Minimum 3-5+ years experience in civil or structural drafting, High proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid understanding of civil engineering drawings and construction documentation, Experience with shop drawings for structural steel, precast concrete, or similar, Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications, attention to detail and accuracy, Good English communication skills for remote collaboration, Self-directed and comfortable working independently
Nice to Have
other CAD software such as Revit or Civil 3D, Experience with quantity takeoffs for civil or construction projects, Background in estimating support or cost planning, Exposure to Australian construction standards or similar
What You'll Do.
Produce shop drawings for bridges
and general metalwork
Draw site plans and traffic management plans
Complete quantity takeoffs
Check quantities against drawings
Assist engineering team with estimating support
Liaise with engineers
Manage and organize drawing files and documentation
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work closely with the in-house engineering team; Liaise with other in-house engineers
