Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join its Data Center design team in Columbus, OH, Austin, TX, or Herndon, VA. As a Data Center Civil Engineer at AWS, you will lead land development / site civil engineering designs for Amazon Data Centers. These could be fast-track large scale campuses with multiple data center buildings, roadways and extensive infrastructure. You will be part of a highly creative and efficient design team comprised of Architects, Engineers, and Designers tasked with solving problems and challenging the status quo. As a subject matter expert, you will have a direct impact on the design of Data Center sites and infrastructure, provide technical design guidance and vendor oversight, solve large-scale implementation issues, and build a strong understanding of major land / site development design, construction, and program requirements.
