Must Have
6 months to 1 year related experience
Nice to Have
Good knowledge of customs brokerage process and system, Good knowledge of customs legislation, especially with regards to classification, valuation and origin, Good knowledge of incoterms, Hazardous Materials certification
What You'll Do.
Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow
Ensure accurate and timely client billing
Understand customs DLSOP
Interpret information to fulfill customer instructions
Ensure accurate and timely data entry
Transpose customs declaration information
Assist with verification of customs declaration
Track and trace Customs files
Interact with customs authorities
Attend customs inspections
Act as liaison between customs authorities
Ensure timely customs clearance of cargo
Verify documents received for customs purposes
Interact with customers arranging shipments
Contribute to maintain relationships with customs officers
Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
Understand department process flow
Keep up to date on regulatory requirements
Overseas communications
Escalation of problems to Management
Attend training classes
Complete mandatory training
Diligently follow all company policies
Perform task with outstanding integrity
