Full Job Description

Performs tasks associated with equipment repairs, orders, and inventory. Utilizes software programs for inventory management and research. Assists students with equipment operation and access. Generates budget reports, handles invoices, contacts vendors, and works with faculty on production class requirements. **Essential Functions:** 1\. Manages equipment reservations, including checking out and returns. 2\. Maintains updated and accurate equipment inventory. Repairs and maintains equipment and parts. 3.Manages and maintains files and archives. Maintains necessary paperwork, including invoices and receipts, for budgetary purposes. 4.Communicates with vendors regarding equipment orders and supplemental items. 5.Meets with faculty regarding class preparation and equipment needs. 6.Educates students regarding equipment function and operation. 7\. Performs other duties as assigned. **Job Requirements:** Required: Bachelor’s degree. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Cinema/Film Studies or Film/Digital Production. Relevant experience can be substituted for education. Required: 1-3 years’ experience working with filmmaking hardware and software in a similar position or as a member of a film/digital production team Preferred: 4-7 years’ experience working with filmmaking hardware and software in a similar position or as a member of a film/digital production team
