Must Have

At least 4 years of schooling in Chinese, Bilingual: spoken and written English and Mandarin, Student currently enrolled at McGill in Arts, Education, Engineering, Management, Music, Nursing or Science, General knowledge of the downtown campus and student life, written and oral communication skills in English and in Mandarin, interpersonal skills - must be outgoing, willing to engage and initiate conversations with students and their families / able to adapt quickly to situations, Extremely reliable and punctual, Work study applicants must provide proof of program acceptance, authorized to work in Canada, willing to work in the province of Quebec, Knowledge of English: Level # 3 on a scale of 0-4

Knowledge of WeChat management is an asset, Involvement in the McGill community (clubs, services, athletics or other university activities) an asset, Customer service and social media experience an asset, Additional languages (French, Spanish) an asset

What You'll Do.

Serves as dedicated Student Ambassador

Assists in translating information

Hosts virtual and in-person campus tours

Represents McGill as first point of contact

Greets and advises prospective students

Provide administrative support of recruitment activities

Conducts research via social media

Participates in social media campaigns

Provides administrative support at Welcome Centre

Hosts and participates in virtual and in-person panels
