Login to your McGill Workday account and apply to this posting using the Find Jobs report (type Find Jobs in the search bar).** **Position summary:** Under the direction of the Student Recruitment Manager (Asia Pacific), the Chine Ambassador may perform some or all of the listed general administration functions. These functions are of low complexity and the incumbent performs them using precise instructions provided by his/her immediate supervisor or other team members. **Duties and responsibilities:** * Serves as dedicated Student Ambassador for prospective and newly admitted Chinese students, providing information in English and Mandarin. * Assists in translating information from English to Mandarin. * Hosts virtual and in-person campus tours for the public and for VIP guests (country delegates, government officials, donors, etc.). * Represents McGill as the first point of contact at the Welcome Centre. * Greets and advises prospective students on the University (programs, admissions (all pools), legal documents, campus life, tuition, Montreal life, etc.) with a knowledgeable and positive attitude. * Provide administrative support of recruitment activities and events (set up and take down of signs, manage kiosk, provide written feedback on event, equipment and furniture, data entry, etc.). * Conducts research via social media and internet searches. Participates in social media campaigns and events (ex. WeChat, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube). Some video and photo editing may be required. * Provides administrative support at the Welcome Centre by answering phones, responding to e-mails, and assis
