This role requires strong hands-on engineering experience, ensuring platform deployments are compliant with China’s Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) while also aligning with global engineering standards and lifecycle processes. The Platform Engineer will collaborate with global platform engineering teams, local application teams, security & compliance leads, and operations teams to deliver secure, compliant, and reliable platform services that support business operations in China. **Key Responsibilities** **1\. Platform Engineering & Delivery** * Follow Global Standards with respect to Design, implement, and manage databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, open-source DBs). This primarily includes AWS RDS databases like Aurora MySQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, Oracle SE2. * Deploy and manage mid-tier services including .NET, IIS, middleware platforms. * Ensure platforms are resilient, scalable, and aligned with business/application requirements. * Work closely with Global team on automation for provisioning, patching, monitoring, and scaling of platforms. **2\.
