Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, 5–8 years in IT infrastructure/cloud engineering, Hands-on experience primarily on AWS China, Knowledge of servers, storage, networks, OS, Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of China PIPL, DSL, CSL, problem-solving and hands-on implementation capability, Fluent in Mandarin & English, collaboration skills with global and local teams
Nice to Have
add-on experience on Azure China, Experience with tools like Terraform, GitHub, Ansible, or ARM templates
What You'll Do.
Manage all Cloud engineering activities in China
Ensure infrastructure solutions are delivered in alignment with global engineering standards
Collaborate with global engineering teams
and manage primarily AWS China Cloud services
Deploy and maintain infrastructure for servers
and operating systems
Work closely with Global team on automation for provisioning
Ensure infrastructure meets business needs and global design principles
Design and Deploy IaaS using Terraform
Ensure all infrastructure engineering activities comply with PIPL
Work with Security & Compliance leads to implement encryption
Document engineering standards and ensure readiness for audits
Work with local application teams to capture new cloud requirements
Align with global engineering teams to integrate new capabilities into China deployments
Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth handover of engineered solutions
Ensure infrastructure is aligned with global lifecycle policies
Standardize builds and configurations to match global engineering templates
and cost optimization for infrastructure
Explore and recommend new technologies in line with global strategies
and self-service capabilities
Contribute to engineering best practices and knowledge sharing

This includes cloud hosting services (AWS China, Azure China), servers, storage, networks, and operating systems. The role requires strong hands-on implementation skills, ensuring infrastructure solutions are delivered in alignment with global engineering standards, lifecycle processes, and strict compliance with China’s Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) and related regulations. The Cloud Engineer will collaborate with global engineering teams, local application teams, security & compliance leads, and operations teams to follow global standards with respect to design, implement, and support infrastructure that enables secure and compliant business operations in China. **Key Responsibilities** * **1\.
