**Job Description Summary** To provide assistance in pediatric patient care services under the direction of the Child Life Manager. **Entity** Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) **Worker Type** Employee **Worker Sub-Type** Regular **Cost Center** CC000358 CHS - Child Life Pediatrics (SJCH) **Pay Rate Type** Hourly **Pay Grade** Health-23 **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 24 **Work Shift** **Job Description** Provides skilled supervision of a multi-age playroom and bedside play, as needed. Assists with facilitating playroom operations, per Child Life Department policy and procedure. Plan and implement activities in play space to encourage growth and development in pediatric patients. Assists with material management, supervision of volunteers and communicates with Child Life staff regarding patient needs and interactions. **Additional Job Description** Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Child Life, Education, Special Education or related field.
