Must Have
Associates degree or 6 years' experience is required, Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines, Ability to recognize and maintain the confidentiality of all materials in the work setting, Understanding of modern office methods and efficient with computers, Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with community partners and providers, Ability to partner with and motivate clients from a diverse range of backgrounds, Ability to maintain a record keeping and follow-up system, Ability to work independently, requiring minimal supervision and on multiple projects simultaneously, Experience in meeting deadlines and adhering to strict standards
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree is preferred, Demonstrated ability to use various computer systems, preferably CalSAWs and KinderTrack, although not required
What You'll Do.
Manage a team of Case Managers and Program Assistants that work directly to support the Child Care team with CalWORKs
Ensure that services and outcomes are accurately tracked and reported timely
Request and compile required reports
Implement best practices
create SOPs and continuously assess for process ensure employees are equipped with the necessary training and tools to be successful in their roles
Lead team through organizational change and transitions
Train and lead team to ensure proper work performance and accuracy in reporting
Establish and maintain good working relationships with partners including CalWORKs participants
and Alternative Payment agencies
Provide monthly reporting statistics to supervisor for designated area of responsibility
Ensure regular quality control checks relative to data and system functionality are performed of
the child care database and KinderTrack
Responsible for ensuring that caseloads are managed appropriately performing regular quality reviews
training and support to staff
Other responsibilities required to support the departmental needs

Team & Collaboration
Establish and maintain good working relationships with partners including CalWORKs participants, County staff, child care providers, and Alternative Payment agencies; Data inconsistencies or issues are brought to the attention of the child care specialist, program assistant and program manager timely
