Must Have
Vermont standards for Teaching Assistant position, High School diploma, or equivalent, 3 credit college course in Psychology, Sociology, or Early Education related field, 1 year of working experience in a childcare center, 18 years of age, or older, First Aid & CPR Certification, lift 40 (forty) pounds, on a regular and repeating basis, perform during the day without scheduled breaks, handle high noise levels and stressful environments
Nice to Have
Desire to work closely with children in an educational and supervisory setting, while pursuing personal accreditation through professional development, Some experience working with children from newborn to six years old in a supervised environment
What You'll Do.

Maintain the facility in a healthy and safe working order
initiate and encourage children
Follow curriculum as directed
Responsible for basic care needs
Assist during meal preparation and clean-up
Interact with families and communicate needs
Assist with daily tasks
Attend all staff meetings and training
Complete 24 hours of professional development
Wear designated protective equipment
Participate in coordination of emergency procedures
Report any suspected abuse or neglect
