ABOUT THE ROLE We currently have an opportunity for a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active Illinois license for a 100% telepsychiatry position. This position is part-time (16 hours/week) and will allow you to provide services remotely for patients accessing care from an outpatient mental health clinic. Patient population includes children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Provide a full range of psychiatric services to assigned patients, including assessment, evaluation, screening, diagnosis, and treatment - Analyze and evaluate patient data and test findings to diagnose nature and extent of behavioral health disorder - Direct and/or implement psychotherapeutic treatments as well as prescribe medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders - Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, or other professionals to discuss treatment plans and progress - Examine or order laboratory tests to provide information on general physical condition and mental disorders - Participate in treatment team activities to include the development and periodic review of treatment plans and to take the necessary steps when an individual refuses treatment WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR - Clinicians must have active state license - 1-3 years of experience since obtaining license - Intermediate to advanced experience with technology - Strong communication skills - Established
