Must Have
10+ years of experience, combining Tier 1 strategy consulting (BCG, McKinsey, Bain, or equivalent) with operating experience in a high-growth tech startup or scale-up., Direct and substantive management experience, with a proven ability to hire and retain great talent., Architectural thinking: You're as comfortable designing a multi-quarter operating model as you are fixing a broken process. You think in systems, not tasks., Analytical rigor: Structured thinking, attention to detail, comfort with numbers, ability to write a board memo that holds up under CEO and investor scrutiny., Emotional intelligence and stakeholder management: This role lives at the intersection of the CEO, the SteerCo, the Founder Associates, and every team in the company. You read people well, you build trust quickly across very different stakeholders, and you handle sensitive conversations with care., Energy: You bring genuine drive and presence into a room. You'll be one of the cultural carriers of the company and a representative of the CEO., AI fluency: You already use AI tools fluently in your own work, you have a point of view on how they reshape how teams operate, and you're excited to help Joko go further — the CEO Office is expected to lead by example on this front., Efficiency: You're fluent in productivity tools, ruthless about prioritization, and known for delivering on time across complex projects with many stakeholders. What You'll Do.
Act as the CEO's strategic partner.
Lead Joko's strategic projects.
Build and manage the Founder Associates team.
Own the rhythm and quality of how Joko is run at the top (board meetings
executive team meetings
communication cadence).
Animate and drive alignment for the leadership team.
Lead company-wide initiatives that matter most to the CEO and Joko's next chapter.
Deploy Founder Associates as a strike force to address critical gaps.
Embody Joko's culture and lead by example.
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partner closely with co-founders Nicolas (CRO) and Alexandre (CTO).; Serve as secretary of the Steering Committee.; Work with the leadership team (founders, CMO, COO, VP People, Head of Online).; Build trust quickly across very different stakeholders.; Handle sensitive conversations with care.; Collaborate with every team in the company.
