This role manages maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety standards and timely completion of projects to maintain guest satisfaction and hotel operations. **Essential Functions and Duties:** * Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times. * Supervise maintenance operations, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, A/C units, lighting, and fire/life safety systems. * Monitor and manage energy consumption (electric, gas, oil, water) for efficiency. * Oversee contracted services (electrical, plumbing, cleaning) to meet hotel standards and guest expectations. * Supervise maintenance staff, including hiring, training, evaluations, and scheduling. * Ensure timely and accurate completion of all maintenance projects according to specifications. * Coordinate with Housekeeping and Security on operations, key control, and safety procedures. * Assist with project planning and work closely with architects and contractors on bids and blueprints. * Manage maintenance agreements and contracts, including landscaping and snow removal. * Develop and maintain maintenance programs for guest rooms, public spaces, and hotel equipment. * Perform inventory management, purchasing duties, and budget development for the department. * Ensure cleanliness and organization of workspaces and attend meetings as required by the General Manager. _Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential
