What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Associate's Degree (or other 2 year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years of inspection experience complying with Federal Aviation Regulations, Valid A&P License, U. S. citizenship is required
Nice to Have
Previous experience as a Chief Inspector, Quality Supervisor, Quality Manager, or as a Lead Auditor, Experience with investigation (RCCA) Process and other continuous improvement processes/tools, In-depth working knowledge with Federal Aviation Administration regulations, Working knowledge of technical Documentation/ standards, Familiar with engine assembly and disassembly process, as well as component repair process and return to service functions, Familiar with inspection and measurement equipment, Experience with regulatory certification, Training / working knowledge of AS9110 and Supplier Quality Management
What You'll Do.
overall operation of the inspection department
oversee all return to service processes
plan and lay out the details of inspection standards
and procedures used by the repair stations in complying with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Manufactures specifications and recommendations
performing a variety of duties in supporting & implementing the Pratt & Whitney Engine Services Internal Quality Management System
Ensure compliance to FAA regulations
ISO 9001: 2008 and AS 9100/AS9110 (as revised) requirements
Provide oversight of the PWES and MRT inspection process
and maintain all regulatory documentation
Conduct Risk and Opportunity assessments
Ensure deployment of site Safety Management System (SMS) for compliance to PWES Product Safety and Product Quality requirements
Lead RCCA investigations
Maintain Quality Metrics and KPIs
