What You'll Do.
Direct annual operating plan process
Present approved plan to board
Ensure fidelity of rolling forecast
Translate variance findings into recommendations
Manage unit economics and threshold-setting
Establish and hold acquisition investment thresholds
Design and direct omnichannel P&L architecture
Evaluate new retail placements
Drive financial accountability with supply chain
Oversee variance analysis against plan
Implement corrective action plans
Design and manage capital allocation decisions
Own financial systems roadmap
Define and own path to positive operating cash
Establish milestones for cash flow
Identify cost structure and revenue levers
Track progress against cash flow plan
Own accuracy and timeliness of GAAP financial statements
Oversee monthly and annual close process
Ensure close completes within timelines
Maintain documented accounting policies
Design and maintain internal controls environment
Ensure controls are audit-ready
Oversee preparation of audited financial statements
Coordinate timely completion of annual audit
Coordinate required tax filings
Oversee sales tax compliance
Oversee indirect tax obligations
Oversee regulatory reporting requirements
Manage treasury and working capital
Maintain accurate 13-week cash flow
Maintain visibility into cash conversion cycle
and manage non-dilutive financing
Optimize working capital across AP
Develop programs to improve DPO
Reduce inventory days on hand
Accelerate cash conversion
Prepare financial materials for board
