The Chief Engineer responsible for all working matters under the operations and maintenance of building systems at CMI’s customer site in Culpeper, VA. Key Job Functions * Responsible for the building’s systems including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and supervision of technicians. * Performs Preventive Maintenance tasks involving keeping equipment in good working order to reduce downtime and prevent breakdowns. * Shall be onsite in a full-time capacity and on-call to respond to emergencies. ## Qualifications * The Chief Engineer must possess at a minimum five (5) years of experience within the past seven (7) years in the management of building mechanical maintenance operations and supervision of technicians for a facility or facility campus of at least 1 million square feet. * The Chief Engineer must possess a valid stationary engineer’s license at least equivalent to a Class 3 Steam Engineer (DC) or First Grade Engineer (MD * Demonstrate competency in other disciplines such as HVAC, plumbing and/or electrical through a combination of education, professional registration and experience. * An industry certification from International Facility Management Association (CFM, FMP and/or SFP), Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI), and/or Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE) are highly desirable.
