What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Deeply technical, hands-on Chief Engineers, Experience operating complex, large-scale data environments in regulated organisations, Architectural judgement, Ability to make decisions in live environments, Track record of owning data outcomes, Lead enterprise-scale data environments, Own end-to-end data flows and data integrity across ingestion, processing and downstream consumption, Experience delivering major data migrations or transformations from legacy to modern stacks, Operated in production environments where data accuracy, integrity and availability are critical to business and regulatory outcomes, Expertise in data lifecycle challenges, including ingestion, transformation, pipeline orchestration and downstream consumption, Experienced in troubleshooting complex data issues and identifying root cause across end-to-end data flows, Understand data governance, controls, lineage, observability and operational risk at scale, Influence business decision making at an Executive leadership level, Partnered across product, risk and delivery to deliver enterprise outcomes
