What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Previous engineering or building operations experience, Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, life safety systems, and mechanical operations, Experience managing preventive maintenance programs, Experience managing building inspections, Familiarity with local regulatory and inspection requirements, Experience supervising maintenance teams, Experience coordinating vendors and contractors, Ability to manage building operations during ongoing construction or partial occupancy environments, High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
Technical certifications, Knowledge of City of Austin requirements, Knowledge of BuildingLink or Vantaca
What You'll Do.
Oversee maintenance and engineering operations
Develop and manage preventive maintenance program
Supervise maintenance team
Train maintenance team
Support maintenance team
Coordinate inspections with vendors
Coordinate repairs with vendors
Coordinate contracted services with vendors
Monitor building utilities
Provide quarterly cost analysis
Provide energy efficiency recommendations
Maintain compliance with regulations
Ensure safety systems are maintained
Respond to emergency situations
Participate in after-hours on-call rotations
