Must Have
Minimum of 3-5 years of product formulation or related bench experience, B.S. degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or an equivalent scientific discipline, Technical knowledge of chemistry, polymers, colorants, emulsions, surfactants, and other raw materials used in the cosmetic industry, Ability to work independently and as part of a matrix team, Ability to multitask and work within a fast-paced, flexible environment, Ability to influence peers as well as key decision-makers across the organization, Good written and spoken English
Nice to Have
Ph. D. with 0-5 years of industry experience, Understanding of consumer insights related to product development, Demonstrating technologies as they relate to the consumer experience, Experience in assessing and developing intellectual property

In this role, you will not only work in the laboratory but also actively participate in creating new cosmetic formulas, collaborating with marketing, packaging, and other teams. Your actions will directly impact the development of our products and the success of the company. **Key responsibilities:** * Independently manage and lead the development of new, commercially viable products in a highly cross-functional environment. * Work closely with partners to design new cosmetic products, product testing strategies, and resolve development problems. * Ensure the timely completion of product development activities with high quality. * Prepare lab batches to track performance and stability, conduct necessary testing, and collect technical information per procedure bulletins. * Propose and execute strategies for product testing, including efficacy, claims support, and product integrity. * Collaborate with Marketing, global R&D groups, consumer science, Packaging, Processing, ingredient suppliers, and Regulatory teams to ensure timely completion of testing and final product approval. * Develop innovative product demonstrations and/or claim expansion targeted to meet consumer needs and industry trends. **What We’re Looking For:** * Minimum of 3-5 years of product formulation or related bench experience, or a Ph.D. with 0-5 years of industry experience. * B.S. degree in Chemistry, Bioc
