**Job Title:** Chemical Operator II **Job Description:** **The Role** Entegris is currently seeking a **Chemical Operator II(Nights)** to join our **CVD/ Distillation Hall **team. This position will be based in our **Burnet** facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the purification and maintenance of a variety set of products. This role will be part of a team that strives to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality while meeting the timeliness our customer’s desire. **The shift for this position is 5:00pm – 5:00am (3-2-2-3 schedule with every other weekend off) once fully trained and certified.** **What You’ll Do** * Initiate, monitor, and troubleshoot batch-distillation processes: Oversee the entire batch-distillation process from start to finish, ensuring the safe handling and processing of multiple hazardous chemicals. This includes setting up equipment, monitoring the distillation process, identifying and resolving any issues that arise, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. * Collect and submit chemical samples: Use a variety of glass and Teflon vials to collect chemical samples at different stages of the process. Accurately label and document each sample before submitting them to the laboratory for detailed analysis. Ensure that all samples are handled according to safety and quality standards. * Perform preventative maintenance on equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain distillation equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operation. This includes cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts as necessary. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to the supervisor. * Utilize SAP for production management: Use SAP software to manage the production schedule, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and according to plan.
