What You'll Do.
Follow standard mixing procedures for production of liquid chemical compounds.

according to knowledge of equipment and processes.
Must check for consistency in various batches.
Take samples of the compound and turn them over to a laboratory for testing.

Follow sanitation and safety guidelines thoroughly when cleaning machinery.
Complete necessary documentation regarding the compounded batches.
Record operational data
Inspect equipment or units to detect leaks or malfunctions

They must follow standard instructions to measure or weigh dyes, chemicals, and other substances into the machinery. Read plant specifications to determine products, ingredients, or prescribed modifications of plant procedures. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS** * Follow standard mixing procedures for production of liquid chemical compounds. * Measure, weigh, and mix chemical ingredients, according to specifications. * Adjust controls to regulate temperature, pressure, feed, or flow of liquids or gases and times of prescribed reactions, according to knowledge of equipment and processes. * Must check for consistency in various batches. * Take samples of the compound and turn them over to a laboratory for testing. Draw samples of products at specified stages so that analyses can be performed. * Follow sanitation and safety guidelines thoroughly when cleaning machinery. * Complete necessary documentation regarding the compounded batches.
