3+ years cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant, An understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills, Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure, Able to spend 100% of the time standing, Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, Legally eligible to work in Canada
Nice to Have
Culinary diploma/degree is an asset, Valid Food Handlers certificate, preferred
What You'll Do.
Perform delegated tasks from the Sous Chef
Day-to-day food preparation
Cook and plate dishes with precision
Follow the FIFO method
Assist in food inventory
Assist in properly receiving and storing items
Clean food prep areas
Adhere to WHMIS and MSDS guidelines
