What You'll Do.

Lead day-to-day performance management of the Fraud Analyst team

Contribute to performance reviews

and development plans

Own and sign off on the team schedule for 7-day coverage

Support onboarding and ramp-up of new analysts

Stay current on fraud trends by screening transactions and reviewing complex cases

Guide analysts on structuring investigations

Formulate questions and hypotheses for data analysis

Partner with Data Analysts to explore data at scale

Ensure investigation findings are documented and fed back into rules

Act as lead contact for rule management

and development strategy

Monitor rule and query performance

Manage fraud vendor migration

Integrate internal fraud models and AI scores into screening workflows

Ensure analysts understand and use the fraud platform correctly

and document process improvement opportunities

Partner with Data and Engineering to automate manual work

Support creation of proactive

automated fraud prevention/response mechanisms

Communicate complex fraud scenarios and strategic findings to stakeholders

Represent the Fraud Analyst team in recurring forums

Ensure timely communication of new patterns

and incidents to partners

Own the coverage and escalation model for Fraud Analysts

Serve as first operational escalation point for complex or high-impact incidents

Reinforce documentation standards

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Partner with Data Analysts to explore data at scale; Partner closely with the Risk Data team; Partner with Data and Engineering to move manual, repetitive work into automated or AI-assisted processes; Communicate with a broad set of stakeholders, including Data, Product, Payments, Chargebacks, FP&A, and Partner teams; Represent the Fraud Analyst team in recurring forums; Ensure clear, timely communication of new patterns, rule changes, and incidents to partners via internal PS/Partnership teams and direct partner contacts; Coordinate with chargebacks, payments, and data teams to drive resolution and retrospective learning

Communication Scope

Communicate complex fraud scenarios and strategic findings to a broad set of stakeholders; Communicate with a technical confidence that allows you to defend our processes and resolve the most complex payment disputes; Translate complex financial risk concepts for business partners, focusing on results and revenue protection rather than technical jargon; Ensure clear, timely communication of new patterns, rule changes, and incidents to partners
