What You'll Do.
Support daily prep list completion
Prepare menu items to high standard
Support recipe development and costings
Benchmark local trends for menu development
Maintain good relationships with customers
Ensure quality standards maintained

Ensure compliance with company procedures
Ensure agreed stock levels maintained
Support compiling orders
Check delivery of orders
Support kitchen team in other duties

Ready to bring your best? **We are looking for a Chef to join our team at the Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre!** **Location:** Hawes, Yorkshire Dales **Shifts** : 5 days per week, 8:30am – 5:00pm including alternate weekends **Annual Salary:** £28,000 **ABOUT SAPUTO** As well as our local Wensleydale, the Saputo Dairy UK brands include Cathedral City cheese, butters and spreads such as Clover, Country Life, Vitalite and Utterly Butterly and other dairy ingredients. **ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY** You will be working in our award-winning visitor experience Calvert’s Restaurant & 1897 Coffee Shop in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. We attract a vast range of visitors all year round and are continuing to grow from strength to strength. We pride ourselves on using locally sourced fresh seasonal produce and our ethos is to provide outstanding quality food whilst showcasing our award-winning cheeses, which represent our amazing brand and exceed our customers’ expectations. This is very much a 'hands on' role working with our wonderful kitchen team in a great environment with the latest technology, helping to produce outstanding quality food, whilst ensuring our extremely busy kitchen maintains high standards of cleaning and is compliant with all relevant legislation. This is an ideal opportunity for a passionate and dedicated chef or experienced professional cook at senior Commis or Chef de Partie level.
