What You'll Do.
friendly customer service
Greet customers in a friendly manner
Assist customers with product location and acquisition
Answer telephone promptly and provide service
Work with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction
Operate cash register accurately
Redeem coupons and process transactions
Package merchandise for customers
Answer customer questions and concerns
Follow policies on sales of tobacco
Ensure compliance with WIC and food stamps guidelines
Clean shelves and understand shelf tags
Know merchandise location
Perceive surroundings for customer needs and safety
Communicate clearly on intercom or telephone
Review weekly store ad for price changes
Keep register area clean
Ensure adequate supplies are available
Report improper cash levels
Maintain store appearance
Verify cash drawer balances
Give cash refunds or issue credit memorandums
Understand and practice sanitation procedures
Maintain adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
Adhere to company policies
Report to work on time
