What You'll Do.

Load or unload heavy items
Pass along customer suggestions
Answer telephone promptly
Work with co-workers as a team
Operate cash register accurately

Complete credit-card charge transactions
Place merchandise in bags or boxes
Give packages to customers
Answer customer questions and concerns
Follow policies on sales of tobacco
Ensure compliance with WIC and food stamps
Understand shelf tags
Know location of merchandise
Take customers to an item
Perceive surroundings for customer needs
Communicate clearly on intercom or telephone
Review weekly store ad
Keep register area clean
Ensure adequate supplies
Report improper cash levels
Maintain store appearance
Verify balances at beginning and end of shift
Issue credit memorandums
Understand and practice sanitation procedures
Ensure work area is clean and neat
Maintain adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
Adhere to company policies
