What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree, Complete one (1) of CPE within first year, Completion of lay ministry or in the ordination process, Documentation of faith community endorsement
Nice to Have
Master's degree in a related field, One (1) unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) completed, Experience as a Chaplain in a healthcare setting
What You'll Do.
Provide spiritual care and emotional support
Recognize sacramental needs of Catholic population
Provide for religious and ritual needs
Minister to diverse population
Provide basic emotional and spiritual support
Provide constructive pastoral presence
Employ pastoral skills
Provide spiritual support to end-of-life situations
Provide spiritual support to crisis situations
