What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Master's of Divinity, Master's of Theology, Equivalent theological degree, Ordained, commissioned, endorsed or approved by a faith group or denomination, Successful completion of at least one level unit of Clinical Pastoral Education in a center accredited by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc., Working knowledge of the practice of ministry, Ability to meet all residency requirements

What You'll Do.
Provide spiritual care for patients
Provide spiritual care for families
Provide spiritual care for staff
Function as primary chaplain
Provide on-call coverage
Provide back-up coverage
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Facilitate staff support groups
Educate on Advance Directive documents
Assist with execution of Advance Directive documents
Provide worship leadership
Announce worship services
Distribute worship service information
Design worship services
Lead worship services
Participate in Clinical Pastoral Education programs
Establish educational goals
Adhere to Code of Professional Ethics
Receive educational evaluations
Receive performance evaluations
Receive competency assessments
Provide pastoral supervision
Adhere to general hospital standards
Promote cooperative work environment
Utilize communication skills
Utilize interpersonal relationships
