**POSITION SUMMARY:** Provides spiritual guidance and support to in-house patients. Provides pastoral ministry; performs or arranges for religious services to meet the needs of patients and their families. Provides assistance to contracted staff and visiting clergy. **Position** : Chaplain **Department** : Chaplain NP **Schedule** : Per Diem **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:** * Provide spiritual care and counseling to individuals and groups * Conduct religious services, ceremonies, and rites according to faith traditions * Offer emotional support and guidance in times of crisis or grief * Facilitate religious education programs and study groups * Develop and implement spiritual care plans tailored to individual needs * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care * Visit patients, inmates, or service members in their respective settings * Maintain confidential records of spiritual care interactions * Advise on ethical and moral issues within the institution * Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions * Provide support to families during illness, trauma, or loss * Ensure all religious practices and services comply with organizational policies and procedures **EDUCATION** Bachelor's degree in Theology, Divinity, Religious Studies, or a related field **EXPERIENCE** Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in pastoral care or chaplaincy **KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:** · Requires knowledge of counseling and clinical pastoral care, including training in human development and behavior, spirituality and religious practices common to the community, generally acquired through the completion of a Master's degree in Divinity or Theology. Endorsement by a recognized religious body or authority preferred. Requires advanced interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with various healthcare professionals, agencies, patients and members of the clergy. Bilingual ability is a big plus. **Compensation Range:** $29.73- $39.23 This r
