The Budget Analyst II administers the laboratory's external funding, including grants and awards, with a primary focus on coordinating and submitting non-core proposals and overseeing post-award processes. [Learn more](https://www.ucar.edu/opportunities/careers/faqs). **Work Location:** Regardless of flexible work arrangements, UCAR requires ALL positions to be performed within the U.S., excluding U.S. Territories. # **What You Will Do** Here is a brief summary of what one would expect to be generally responsible for in this role. **Leads Proposal Submissions** * Using clearly defined work plans, works closely with PIs to meet required deadlines and ensure proposal submissions meet sponsor guidelines and the projects meet UCAR and NSF criteria for appropriateness. * Prepares/collects forms, budgets, justifications, etc. for on-line submission to sites such as Research.gov, Fastlane, Grants.gov, and NSPIRES. * Monitors and tracks the status of in-process and submitted proposals.
