Full Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: The CFStudents Coordinator, MIX (Development) position provides support to all CFStudents activities at the Gardens location. This position serves in all efforts to disciple students, lead and support ministry, build volunteer teams, and execute events. This is a part-time, 25-hour-a-week, salary position that fully supports and works alongside the Boynton Beach CFStudents Director. JOB DUTIES: Pastoring, serving and caring for students and their families at the campus level, while coordinating on-site services and events for the MIX. Leading CFStudents weekly experiences like Wednesdays, owning the MIX experience and environments, and helping with events (Camps, Retreats, etc.) alongside other various projects within CFStudents. Developing and mobilizing students to lead and serve within CFStudents, and working with Campus Teams to ensure student participation in weekend worship, the Journey, 4th Saturday Serve, and CF Global events. Building an extensive team of adult volunteers to invest in our students, including Service Volunteers and Group Leaders. Recruiting and onboarding volunteers while implementing and maintaining accurate volunteer tracking systems and leveraging our church database system. Communicating clearly and concisely to leaders about CFStudents services and special event plans. Looking after agendas, mailings, calendars, attendance, and other tasks, which may include reconciling department financial statements, and tracking ministry budgets. EDUCATION: College graduate, or degree in progress, preferably in a related field of ministry. RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of experience in student ministry. Demonstrated experience in building and leading teams or volunteers, including recruiting, training and mentoring. Proficient with computers, and social media, and able to quickly become proficient in new technology formats.
