Full Job Description
## Role Sparring partner to the CEO and, by extension, to the Executive Committee on all financial, ICT and procurement matters. Leading the finance department at director level and as such contributing to corporate policies in a general sense, and more specifically being responsible for the short- and long-term finance policy including (but not limited to) Accounting, Budgeting, Cash Management, Controlling, FP&A, Reporting, Tax, Treasury. Develop and implement finance initiatives aligned with organizational objectives to support the company's healthy growth. ## Responsibilities You are a pro-active player at director level who owns final financial, ICT and procurement responsibility and has affinity with the entire organisation. As a human being among people, you help build the culture in the organisation. As a CFO you will actively participate in the co-creation of the organisation’s strategic policies and objectives and contribute proactively to overall business operations. You will then translate these policies and objectives into operational targets, tailored to the finance and procurement domain. You are a strong people manager able to coach and to develop a finance & procurement team of 20+ people. You are overseeing the specific funding of all activities and ensure that grants are correctly secured and processed. You manage the sector regional specific subsidies adding on the complexity to support the business operations, which requires a strategic approach, rigorous administration and timely action. You have an eye for developments in the digitisation of processes and data management, as well as for digital transformations. Together with your teams, you will develop initiatives aimed at process optimisation within the organisation, leading to improved efficiency, cost reductions and/or contributing to the creation of added value for all customers.
