Backed by advanced technology, lifecycle services and an industry-leading field organization, we elevate customer performance, turn goals into real-world results and help move society forward. **What you will do** * Perform assisted installation, commissioning, and verification activities on Fire Alarm related equipment, including connection of devices and circuits. * Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals, and specifications. * Supervise and coordinate work with electricians working on Fire Alarm systems. * Complete verification reports for submittal to customers and carry out system acceptance tests with AHJ’s and other interested parties. * Complete As Built drawings on the completion of the job. * Maintain up to date knowledge of various product lines. * Identify general deficiencies and code issues in the field during verification. * Travel throughout the District business area when required. * Conduct small programming modifications to an existing system with supervision. * Program small systems (upon training) * Assist in developing employee training programs for employees and customers. **What we look for** **Required** * Completion of a college diploma in Fire Protection, Electrical/Electronic, or equivalent experience, or actively pursuing such qualification. * Completion of a Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) certification * Demonstrated ability to program basic operations on micro-processor-based systems without supervision. * Proficient in the use of co
