What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Current CVT (or eligible for certification), work ethic, reliability, and positive team-oriented attitude, Ability to arrive on time and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, Exceptional communication and customer service skills, Accurate medical recordkeeping and client history documentation, Proficiency in safe, low-stress restraint of patients, Competence in sample collection (blood, urine, fecal, skin) and lab processing, Proficiency in positioning and capturing quality radiographs, Experience in anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
Nice to Have
1+ year of clinical experience (ER or specialty preferred, but not required), Familiarity with preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow, Confidence in advanced skills (e. g. , central lines, NG tubes, CRI calculations)- or a desire to learn!, Ability to accept and integrate constructive feedback to maintain efficiency and patient safety, A self-starter mindset with motivation to expand knowledge, pursue specialization, or step into leadership
What You'll Do.
Triage and prioritize incoming patients
and nasal perform blood draws and transfusions
Assist with radiographs
and ultrasound-guided procedures
Provide intensive care for ICU patients
including chest tube maintenance and critical patient support
and assist in surgery
Prepare and interpret fecals
Mentor and train less experienced staff
Partner with DVMs to provide patient care
