What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Active unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license, National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA), High school diploma or equivalent, 6+ months of experience working with computer and web-based tools, Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor, Ability to read and understand English language labelling on product cartons and prescription labels
Nice to Have
Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member, Demonstrated organization skills and attention to detail, Ability to recognize and identify patient medications, Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality
What You'll Do.
Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy
Ensure the right medications are put in the
Run automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications
Fill exception trays with appropriate medication
Transition orders through different workflow stages
Count and fill prescription vials
Affix labels on bulk prescription items
Pack and ship completed orders
Print and affix appropriate labels on dispenser
Print and affix appropriate labels on shipping boxes
Sort and triage the right boxes to ship
Aid pharmacy manager and pharmacists with receiving
Aid pharmacy manager and pharmacists with shipping
Aid pharmacy manager and pharmacists with counting
Aid pharmacy manager and pharmacists with packing
Clean equipment and work areas
Help maintain equipment and work areas
Package medications for dispensing
Package medications for delivery
