What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School diploma or equivalent, 6+ months of working with computer and web based tools, Active unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment, National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
Nice to Have
Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member, Demonstrated organization skills and attention to detail, Ability to recognize and identify patient medications, Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
What You'll Do.
Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy
Ensure the right medications are put in the
Run automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications
Fill exception trays with appropriate medication
Transition orders through different workflow stages
Count and fill prescription vials
Affix labels on bulk prescription items
Pack completed orders
Ship completed orders
Print and affix appropriate labels on dispenser
Print and affix appropriate labels on shipping boxes
Aid pharmacy manager and pharmacists with receiving
Aid pharmacy manager and pharmacists with shipping
Aid pharmacy manager and pharmacists with counting
Aid pharmacy manager and pharmacists with packing
Package medications for dispensing
Package medications for delivery
