The Certified Pharmacy Technician works as part of an interdisciplinary patient care team, and under the direction of the Pharmacist. **Essential Functions:** * Receiving and verifying the accuracy and authenticity of prescriptions * Reviewing and recording patient information with their prescription in compliance with the guidelines of the General Pharmaceutical Council * Providing instructions to educate people on the correct way to take their medicine * Supporting the Pharmacist in the daily operation of the pharmacy * Protecting employees and patients by adhering to infection-control protocols and policies * Other duties as assigned **Education:** * High School Degree or GED **Licensure/Certification:** * Valid ExCPT Certification provided by the National Health Career Association or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification and registration with State Board of Pharmacy (required) **Experience:** * Previous experience working in Retail, Ambulatory, O
