Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), Certified in the state of practice Upon Hire, visual acuity adequate to perform position duties, ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds

What You'll Do.
Administer specified evaluations under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
Conduct general activity programs.
Assist in implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients and patient groups.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team.
Provide input on evaluation as appropriate under supervision of a staff Occupational Therapist.
Plan treatment programs with supervising therapist.
Assist in identifying goals
determining treatment priorities and selecting appropriate treatment media.
Execute treatment programs under supervision of staff therapist.
Coordinate programs with other therapists.
Prepare documentation as required by the department
such as input on evaluation results
progress reports and patient attendance records.
Communicate observations
and comments with interdisciplinary team members
individually and through team meeting participation.
Assist with staff/student on the job training/orientation.
Provide monitoring of assigned student interns.
Attend care conferences as needed.
