What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program degree, Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure, NBCOT certification, Basic Life Support certification, Experience with early intervention, Experience with children with autism, Willingness to obtain RBT certification
Nice to Have
Experience working with children, Knowledge of OT principles, Physical ability to work on floor
What You'll Do.
Assist Occupational Therapist
Provide skilled occupational therapy services
Implement individualized treatment plans
Educate clients and families
Monitor client progress
Document subjective and objective findings
Report changes in client status
Maintain accurate client records
Collaborate with healthcare professionals
Participate in team meetings
Adhere to ethical standards
Maintain safe working environment
Perform administrative tasks
Fill-in for ABA Therapy sessions
Assist with toileting
Work on the floor with children
