What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Current state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L), NBCOT certification as a COTA, Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OTA program (Associate’s degree or equivalent), CPRLS certification, Proven reliability with time management, documentation, and follow-through, comfortable seeking supervision and exercising sound judgment within COTA scope, Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (if travel between sites/homes is required)
Nice to Have
Pediatric experience preferred (1–2 years ideal), Collaborative communicator who thrives in a team setting
What You'll Do.
Deliver occupation-based interventions
Collect objective data
Document session notes
Relay clinical observations to supervising OT
and scoring of standardized assessments
Provide caregiver training and home-program coaching
Co-treat and/or support small groups
Complete billing logs ethically
organized therapy clean
Contribute ideas and materials for program development
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team
Communicate professionally with families
Practice culturally responsive
