Industry & Context.
Primarily nights with rotating weekends and holidays, 72 hours per two weeks, Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Licensing Board in the state of practice within 120 Days
Nice to Have
High School or GED Equivalent, Less than 1 year Related experience or training
What You'll Do.
personal care and services to residents in the skilled nursing facility
social and spiritual needs of residents on a daily basis
Maintaining and improving residents' highest level of independent function
Assisting residents with their activities of daily living
Performing routine duties and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff
Performing blood pressure
respiration and weight measurements
Documenting concise and factual information on the appropriate forms
Performing or assisting residents in performing specific medical care activities
Assisting residents in performing restorative exercises
Collecting specimens as directed by nursing staff
Assessing and documenting completed cares
Providing feedback to nursing staff immediately on status or changes in patient conditions
and other important concerns
Assisting with restocking supplies and maintaining appropriate work environment in unit including cleaning procedures
Participating in providing emotional
educational and spiritual support for families
Complying with all aspects of resident rights including confidentiality and privacy
Reporting all allegations of resident abuse or misappropriation of resident property
Understanding and following established policy and procedures related to fire
universal precautions
infection control procedures
hazardous and chemical communication program
Maintaining an environment that is clean and safe for all residents
