**Department:** 38244 Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital - Medical Education: Residents & Fellows **Status:** Full time **Benefits Eligible:** Yes **Hou****rs Per Week:** 40 **Schedule Details/Additional Information:** Monday-Friday 8am-5pm **Pay Range** $19.20 - $28.80 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: * Associate's degree with experience preferred. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: * MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Ensures accuracy and timeliness of patient laboratory test results. * Ensures quality of test results by following defined Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures. * Ensures safety and compliance: * Maintains appropriate education to accomplish work objectives and maintain current certifications as applicable. * Ensures productive and efficient operations of the section and department. * Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.
