The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for reviewing and updating health records, measuring vital signs, and preparing treatment rooms for upcoming examinations. **Essential Functions:** * Provides excellent customer service skills by greeting patients and the community in a respectful manner * Prepares & reviews patient charts for upcoming visits by verifying that all diagnostic test results, hospital reports, and other medical records are correct and up to date * Measures vital signs such as pulse rate, respiration, blood pressure, weight, and height * Performs departmental-related clerical duties such as checking inventory, stock supplies, track referrals, and answer phones as needed * Must possess the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly * Other duties as assigned **Education:** * High School Degree or GED **Licensure/Certification:** _Active Medical Assisting certification from one of the following (required):_ * Certified Medical Assistant (CMA); American Associ
